• Display issues, crashes, or slow performance

  Updating your graphics driver can fix crashes and graphics issues such as distortions, jagged lines, and flickering. • Cooliris browser toolbar icon is missing

  The Cooliris browser toolbar icon lets you launch Cooliris any time. Some users report that the toolbar icon does not appear. Here's how to fix the issue:

• Display flickers and conflicts with desktop widgets

  Some users of popular desktop widgets such as Yahoo! Widgets, RK Launcher, and Rocket Dock report flickering and other graphic issues. To resolve this, go to the options settings of the particular widget. Then disable or deselect the option to "always display on top". Alternatively, set it to "auto-hide" mode.

• Search box does not work in my language

  The Cooliris search box supports input only for TrueType Font, and not languages that are written traditionally from right to left, such as Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic, among others. However, the search box will work with all languages if the text is copied and pasted into the box.

• Cursor flickers or lacks acceleration on Logitech mouse

  With some third-party mouse hardware, your cursor may flicker or disappear while in Cooliris. To resolve this, turn off "mouse trails" from the control panel for your mouse settings. Additionally, users of Logitech mice may find Cooliris kicks in the "disable acceleration in games" function for the mouse. To fix this, go to your Logitech mouse control panel and then disable the option "Disable acceleration in games" (found in the "motion" section under "cursor speed and acceleration" preferences).

• Monitor's color profile keeps getting reset

  This issue primarily affects systems using ATI Catalyst graphics drivers. These drivers enforce their own color correction, thus overriding any color profiles created by the user. A possible solution is to use a third-party tool called ATI Tray Tools, which has the option to turn the color correction off.

• Videos will not play in Cooliris

  If videos fail to play in Cooliris, try the following steps:

  1. Make sure that you are using a supported version of Adobe Flash. Cooliris does not support Flash 10.1 beta at this time. Once there is a stable release of 10.1, Cooliris will implement it right away.
  2. Clear your browser cache and restart your browser.

  If you still encounter issues, reinstall the latest version of Cooliris.
